Hi! I’m Abigail, a facilitator, herbalist, consultant and grief worker who’s been engaged in movement building work for over two decades. I live in Portland, Oregon, gratefully residing on the ancestral lands of the Multnomah, Tualatin Kalapuya, Wasco, Cowlitz, Clackamas, Molalla, Kathlamet, Bands of Chinook, and many other tribes.

This website is a landing page for my group process offerings, which operate at the intersections of group process work, organizational development, collective grief and healing.

As a facilitator and consultant, I help organizations develop strategy, grow through change and conflict, hone their structure and process, and better care for their people.

This work is informed by 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, where I've worn many hats including community organizer, campaign strategist, coalition facilitator, development director, executive director, co-director, and consultant. I've worked with a diversity of organizations both urban and rural, local and national, on issues like climate justice, immigrant rights, private prison industry divestment, homelessness, and food systems.

I also have many years of experience with grassroots organizing and direct action. I was active the Global Justice Movement of the late 90s and early 2000s; I’m a co-founder of the climate justice network, Rising Tide North America; and I’ve practiced community herbalism in free clinics from Asheville, North Carolina to Portland, Oregon.

While I love a good power mapping session, I’m also passionate about tending to our hearts and spirits so we can collectively build the capacity we need to care for each other as we build a better world.

As a grief worker and retreat facilitator, I draw from many years of experience practicing mindfulness meditation, group facilitation, holistic medicine, and Earth-based ritual. I’ve been facilitating grief work in the tradition of the Work That Reconnects since 2017.
